With our 2 year wedding anniversary coming up, I thought it would be a great time to share all the details.
The date was Sunday 23rd of May 2023. A beautiful winters day with the sun shining. We got married at King Lake Forest Adventures Camp. It is the most magical place. Surrounded by nature, trees and ferns with the perfect arbour and stage pre made and ready to go as well as some bench seats available for your guests.
Our guests walk up this beautiful path and we decided to add some old photos of Matt and I for our guests to enjoy along the way.
We had a beautiful welcome sign at the end of the path as well as lots of rose petals ready to be thrown on to us after we said our I do's! The stunning sign was made from Sketch and Ethc (unfortunatley they do not create custom signs anymore)
The arbour was dressed by One Big Day Gushing with colourful flowers, metallic streamers and cacti (our fave) It made the perfect backdrop for all of our photos.
Our wedding reception was bright, colourful and fun! We wanted a mexican fiesta vibe. Dressed with colourful streamers, balloons and an epic neon sign. Who said you can't have colourful balloons at your wedding. It helped bring in so much colour and really set the vibe.
Streamer wall, Mesh Plinth, Mesh Backdrop and Balloons are all available through US! The Confetti Room!
We also had disco balls and cactus cutouts around the venue as well as jumbo helium balloons floating off the festoon lights.

We had to add some foil helium balloons into the mix! I used these for some photos and then placed them on Miss Fizz drinks caravan. These foil balloons added so much FUN!
Matt and I also got some final photos with this jumbo bunch of foil balloons
It was the best day ever and we absolutely would love to do it again! Who said you can't have a colourful wedding with balloons!!
